Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes between lawyers and their clients, there is the possibility of extrajudicial dispute resolution upon application to the respective competent regional Bar Association (pursuant to section 73 sub-section 2 no. 3 in conjunction with § 73 Para. 5 BRAO) or at the arbitration board of the legal profession (§ 191f BRAO) at the Federal Bar Association, which can be found on the Internet on the homepage of the Federal Bar Association (www.brak.de), e-mail: Schlichtungsstelle(at)brak(0)de.

Online Dispute Resolution Platform For Consumers

Hess Legal does not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

In its judgement of 12 May 1998 - Case No. 312 O 85/98 - the Hamburg Regional Court ruled that the inclusion of a link may entail co-responsibility for the content of the linked page.
